Dr. Hussain is one of the most thorough doctors I know. He is one of the best hospitalists in the city and doesn't cut corners with his patients. He is quick to respond to patient's needs and will not play around when it comes to their needs. He gives individualized attention to each patient and takes time to listen to them. He is soft-spoken and very humble. As a patient, it helps to be forthcoming and open with him because he listens to everything you say. He adapts well to different patients needs and often adjusts his care to them. He can come off as conservative with care at times because he looks holistically at each patient and tries to take into consideration their lifestyle and offer options that cater to the individual. He encourages non-pharmaceutical care when possible but does not hesitate to provide it when needed for patient care or comfort.
