My husband and I went in looking for a table for our dinning room. We selected a 8 ft cherry wood table from a catalog since they do not have them in store. The table was to be delivered and assembled. This did not happen. We had to pick it up and assemble it our selves. Uppon opening the box and assembling the table we noticed two areas with pin holes and scratches. We called Alamo Furniture and got no answer. Being that it was late on Saturday I waited untill Monday morning to call again. Once I finally got a hold of the owner he tried to tell us that it was a "pattern" common on tables but that he would exchange the table top for us. This also never happened. We paid about $800 for a table that was dammaged from the start. Instead of a beautiful show piece I have to cover it with a table cloth. I also tried to contact the maunfacture: Dixon and they were no help instead telling me to go through the vendor for a refund or replacement.
