Round Rock Dog Depot

Great dog park. They have three separate areas for big dogs, small dogs, and dogs that don't really wanna be around a ton of other dogs. The big dog area is huge and offers a nice shaded area with picnic tables for the humans. They're also a kiddie pool that can be refilled by a spout for pups to cool off in over the summer.

Great park but keep an eye out for this heavy, older lady who screams at owners any time a dog starts to bark too much or play bites. I once witnessed her become physically abusive towards someone else's dog then scream at the top of her lungs at the owner when told to stop. Well I just went the other day and I guess it was my turn. My dog loves to chase other dogs and as a result, some snip at him (understandably, this is how dogs communicate). So my dog started chasing hers and HER dog nipped at mine and mine just happen to nip back this time. She went NUTS! Made a huge scene AND caused other dogs to fight with her negative attitude. Dogs feed off of energy and she was worse than the dogs, completely amplifying the situation. This woman should not be aloud to come to this park. If it happens again I will be going to the City about it.
