- Serious HR Issues: The receptionist said "I'm gonna kill you" and his assistant said "I'm gonna hurt you" both in the same visit today. When I brought this to the Daniel's attention, he shrugged it off and dismissed it. BAD J00 J00!!! I can understand a 'play-on-words' but there are some things you simply DO NOT SAY IN A DOCTOR'S OFFICE!!!!
- Scheduling: They can NEVER keep their schedules. If you get told a 7:00am appt, DON'T TAKE IT - IT'S A TRAP they will always call you within a few hours to a couple days and ask you to reschedule; the Dr is always having scheduling issues with the hospital. Daniel: get a practitioner who will always be there in case you are not in order to have full coverage.
- Be careful what you say, all the doctors like to gang up on you and make fun of you. They really need to work on making their patients feel more welcome and comfortable. I really liked Scott - sad to see he left the office. I felt like I was back in the middle of the circle in kindergarten while the kids all laughed at me because I was different. Not nice...
- Dr Dugan may be good at what he does, but he's arrogant. Need to humble it down when your patients try to tell you something.
If you ever get referred to this dentist for surgery, seek another orthodontist. This shop has some serious personality issues that seem to be ignored. I did not like my experience here.
EDIT: When I confronted Daniel about the situation, his response was: "I understand your comments to me, and I wholeheartedly disagree. I really do. No one would make a death threat to you as a patient." He "absolutely" denied his associates made these comments. He said, "So if that bothers you, that's ok. I'm ok with that. You don't run my office."
When I responded "that's sad..." - indicating his lack of ownership over the situation, he transgressed back into his childhood and said "you're sad" repeatedly....
He called me a liar, denied the claims, disagreed that death threats and hurt threats were made because "he didn't hear them", and told me that I'm sad for bringing this to his attention twice.
This is truly one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a health associate. I'm so severely disappointed in the response, or lack thereof from Daniel.
DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
