Generally Chili’s has always been my go-to spot but after tonight I will never go again. My. Colleagues went out to celebrate a birthday tonight , we arrived at the restaurant at 8:45 pm and waited for an hour for our food , during that time the waitress spoke to us a total of 3 times ( including when we ordered our food) we had to ask for chips and salsa twice. We became aggravated because by that time it was 10 pm and we still hadn’t received our meals . Our meals came about an hour later and we asked for to-go box’s and the check . Although it was a different waiter , the male informed us he couldn’t give us our ticket and that our waitress would have to . So we sat for another 5 minutes and still no one showed up . After 5 additional minutes we didn’t eat our good , we simply touched the food to put into the take home containers , we left the containers with the full meal untouched and we left the restaurant. My friend left her phone and she went back to get it , the manager had her phone and wouldn’t give her the phone back and they had to pay $5 to get it back , and they wanted them to pay for the food that was given to us . I called the manager and spoke with her ( her not knowing I was one of the customers sitting there) I asked her to explain what happened and she gave me a complete inaccurate story of what happened . She claimed we hadn’t waited an hour and she also never withheld my friends phone , she denied any form of payment received to retrieve the phone . The manager name:Malissa and our waitress name : anesthesia. Tonight was truly a disaster and unfortunately I cannot get that hour and a half wasted for food I didn’t even want to touch . Chili’s management please fix this fast , I suggest by teaching your staff how to properly handle situations in a professional manner .
