Oak Creek Homes in Boerne Tx has been pretty great to us. My Fiancé and I tried to get into a house for two years and we finally went and visited Tony. He was very straight forward and helpful. He worked extremely hard to get us what we wanted but also kept us aware of what we could and couldn't afford. We decided on a nicer single wide and even got to have a say in what our floors, walls, and cabinets looked like.
Something people need to keep in mind is that there are always going to be setbacks or bumps in the road when it comes to buying or building a home. Nothing worth it is easy. In this situation mostly all the setbacks were on our side. During these hang ups Tony was extremely patient even when we were not. He kept us grounded but motivated, not letting us get discouraged.
Going into this we were aware of the responsibilities and expectations of buying a manufactured home. We are aware that this home must be loaded and driven many many miles to get to its permanent destination. Of course there is going to be repairs needed when it's finally set up. Tony suggested we make a list of repairs needed when we got settled. We did and not long after men came from Fort Worth to fix what was needed to be fixed. As time has passed and the house has settled there has been some floor issues. Which we have contacted Tony each time and he has had someone come out and repair.
I do feel like like Tony's communication skills are not the greatest but so far he's taken care of the things he said he would including what falls onto the 7 year warranty that comes with the home. I will admit after reading these other reviews and even BBB complaints I am becoming somewhat worried. I'm crossing my fingers that these situations do not happen to us and that we continue to love our experience with Oak Creek Homes.
Thank you,
Chelsea
