Pleasantly surprised by the historic district where the river co sits. The staff were friendly and very understanding to our concerns regarding our two young children. With a chalk drawn map and an experienced guide telling us what to expect, includong a 15mph headwind, and what to look for, we set out on our first family canoe trip. An unexpected tip and dip in the river on the shoreline made for a definite memorable experience. Afterwards, we were driven back to the starting point by a another guide and given a few recommendations for lunch in the area. It was a very memorable experience for a very reasonable price.
