We attended New Year's Eve celebrations to bring in the New Year with our favorite band Skyrocket. We had bought tickets in advance and tickets were non refundable. We paid $150.00 per ticket. When we arrived, we got our wrist bands and were told the event was being held downstairs, so we go downstairs. Let me tell you, it was freakin freezing!!! The event could of been held outside and there not been much of a difference. No heat, no heaters. Just plain freezing! Why would the event planners not be prepared? It's not like they didn't know. While upstairs where no event was going on, they had about 5 heaters going. Why? Just to try and heat an area not being used while the event downstairs was so cold we could see our own breath? It was ridiculously cold. Finally after enough complaints were made 1.5 to 2 hours later about the cold, did they bring down one heater. After some time they brought down a few more. Still didn't keep the area warm. The staff was very friendly and the food was very tasty, but it didn't take long for the food to get cold. Everyone kept their coats on until the band started around 9:30 and people finally warmed up, but once you stepped out of the dancing area it was still freezing. If I would of been able to get our tickets refunded we would of left shortly after arriving. The cold, or should I say the Ernie's establishment, definitely ruined what we planned to be a great time. A real damper! I think at least a partial refund should be in order.
