I love Whataburger. Hence the star. I don't love waiting in a short line for a long time, repeatedly. Especially when I'm there because I'm running late for work. This is the 3rd location I've been to after 11PM, and if I was looking for consistency, I found it. 3 cars in front of me, pulling in, and I waited for 25 minutes to get my food. I had enough time to download, sign up and load a card on the app. At the window, the employee didn't know how to scan the app, even though he asked if I was going to use it when I first pulled up. Waited for the manager, since I already spent $25 in the app. Manager came over and scanned, then left, but employee said I still needed to pay. I told him that, literally, right in front of him, I JUST paid. Rather than argue further and waste more time, I paid directly with my card. Thankfully the food was ready at that point. This being the third location, this is just sad. Whataburger tries to cultivate a good, upstanding environment and brand. Y'a'll really need to work on your 3rd shift employment, attitude, work ethics, training, efficiency, etc. I will give one last chance to the Cedar Hill location, as the only place I haven't tried at this time of day.
