100% lack of customer service. As I was walking in the store, a customer service rep passed by me to take a smoke break(smoking within 10 feet of the door, which is against city ordinance). There were no customers in the store, just one rep sitting behind the counter, watching Game of Thrones on his tablet...with the volume turned all the way up. I stood there, awkwardly, and motioned to him. He was fixated on the show. I let maybe 30 more seconds go by before saying "hey man". No response. That's the end of my experience, because I walked out. I was thinking about switching over from AT&T, but I won't be going here to do it.

Worst experience I have ever had with a cell company. Exactly why I tend to stay as far away from a Verizon authorized retailer as I can. Mickey said call or text him anytime with any questions. Good luck with that. He doesn’t answer his phone and his voice mail is full. One time I actually was able to contact him about a concern, he said he would call or text back and then nothing. I had to go all the way to the state fair to pin him down. When I got there he did nothing but offer excuses for not contacting me when he said he would. He also acted as if the entire issue I was having was my fault. In the end I decided to return the phone I had bought mainly because it wasn’t the upgrade we were led to believe we were getting and Mickey’s general attitude during the encounter. I asked about refunding the 70 dollar charge to my card from Verizon he said it was a Verizon non refundable upgrade fee and he couldn’t do anything about it. He said if I was unhappy with it I should dispute the charge with my bank. I later spoke to a manager at a corporate Verizon store who said that is absolute hogwash. He said the fee is fully refundable but the retailer gets penalized for refunding the fee so they are reluctant to work with Verizon to get it refunded. The company just needs to ask Verizon to generate a refund. Bottom line is I paid for an upgrade that I eventually had to return because it wasn’t what we asked for. That’s partly my fault. I should have double checked the item before we walked away.
