TDCJ Garza West Unit

Its total disgust how inmates are transferred here from other facilities & are not allowed visitors or phone calls until they go through what the prison call an interview process which can take anywhere up to a month to 3 months, before the inmate is eligible. Yes inmates know they have done wrong that is why they are where their at. However just because they are behind bars it does not give the guards & staff the rights to treat these humans like caged animals. At the end of the day they too are human like the rest of us & need to see or hear from family & loved ones. #respect
