Come for the great deals, but don't expect any customer service. Wasn't greeted when I came in, and passed/shopped near at least 8 employees while I was shopping and didn't get acknowledged once. When I was trying on shoes, an employee just watched me try on shoes but didn't ask if I needed help. Later, two more employees started a loud conversation behind me, still ignoring me. I had to ask if they had another size in the back, which was met with a short "that's all we have" without hesitating to continue their conversation. When I checked out, the cashier asked me if I was a part of the rewards program. When I said I wasn't sure and asked if there was a way to check, she just said no and did not offer to sign me up.
Maybe I'm being critical, but I've worked in retail for almost 8 years and these are the bare minimum requirements for customer service. I'll return to Steinmart, but probably not this location.
