NTB-National Tire & Battery

My 1st experience with NTB was not a good one. I had my car taken in for an oil change and tire rotation. I went in, and after telling the person behind the counter. He went outside and inspected the tires all around for a couple minutes...keep this in mind for later! After making a walk around, he comes in and makes a recommendation to possible get new tires because the tread of the rear tires seemed to be very worn. I declined for now to get them changed since I’m near the end of the lease on this car. After dropping the car and going home. I get a phone call later that there was a need for rear shock absorbers, declined that. Then I get told I have a nail on the sidewall of the front tire and it’s not fixable, I should get new tires!! HERE is where I get suspicious with them. When I get up there to see the nail, IT LOOKED BRAND NEW, and it was in a funny location, right where it says Michelin on the side of the tire. Someone please explain to me how a freaking nail gets in at that angle??!? No way!! Unless it gets hammered in! And you could recognize it as clear as day, he didn’t pick it up before when he did his walk around. Even me or my dad could have saw it because it was sticking out so much. So NTB I call bs on your staff for trying to upsale. Will not be coming back or my folks! I hope everyone reads this comment! I wouldn’t dare accuse anyone manipulating my car if I didn’t have a VALID reason!
