Today during our Adult Education Forum, we learned about a new support service being developed in Hays County for suicide survivors, LOSS (Local Outreach for Suicide Survivors). If you'd like to know more about this, I will share contact info. There is great need in our community to support those who have experienced a loss through suicide, due to the isolation, complicated emotions, as well as stigmatization of mental health concerns and suicide in our society. I love that Living Word has the heart to address these difficult and sad situations and willingness to become involved in service to those in need.
