I got a dog from here and never regretted it!

I had to surrender a small dog I had because my 2 yr old was too rough with her and I didn't want her to get hurt. The lady that was there was ok, she wasn't very friendly. She asked me to fill out papers and asked if I had her shot records, which I did so I gave them to her. After I left I said goodbye to my dog and I told her I hoped she got a good home, the lady completely ignored me and took my dog away. After a few days I waited to see if they posted her on their Facebook page and I never saw her posted. I told my sister to ask what had happened to her and they were very short with us, didn't give us any details at all. Just that she went to a "rescue." I know surrendering a dog is frowned upon but I wanted a better home for mine because I knew she was a good girl and I couldn't give her a better home at the time with my 2 little ones. I did not really enjoy my visit and I felt very judged.
