Have been going to this gym since probably 2010 or earlier. Never had a situation like today BUT hopefully this allows someone in higher management to address the issue.
Essentially a father and daughter were using one side of the basketball court and 5v5 was being played (since it is the busy time 4-6). They were informed that court etiquette is to just watch for us coming down and then play when we are at the other end. Dad gets angry. Tells the manager "we told them to leave the gym". Instead of coming and asking the 25+ in the gym what happened (which includes other fathers and even people that have worked at LA), he decides to come in very angrily accusing us. Also threatening to end our membership or boot us from the gym... (Even though most of us have been at that gym longer than he has worked there)
No management skills. We pay for the membership just like the father & daughter. Probably should have a sit down with someone who makes decisions and convey to him some crisis management skills.
