Purchased a prom dress for my daughter about 2 weeks ago. They did not have color we wanted but we tried on in size 2 in another color and it fit beautifully. It would need slight alteration but nothing major. Paid in full over $400 to order dress in correct color. Went back to get dress and it did not fit well. Employee was very rude. We tried on other color again to see difference in size & employee kept saying it fit the same. Explained to the employee that she is not wearing the dress & although it is the same designer it was bigger on top. Such a rude employee. She kept saying ,” not sure what you want me to do” When people spend so much money for a dress what we want is for the dress to fit the same way as when we tried on. That is the reason you try on before ordering. Even though it is same designer & same size it is possible that more fabric may be on the dress or that it is made differently. It is idiotic for your employees to say things like, “I’m confused why you think it’s bigger”. My daughter is the one putting it on her body and it feels different or bigger. . What is confusing about that? We are the customer & should have a right to be satisfied with our purchase. Of course it’s too bad for us because no exchanges or retirms when a dress is ordered. No offer to do anything to satisfy us. So disappointed after we were so happy when we initially made our purchase. I will now have to take it to a reputable place to have it altered much more than we initially thought and will probably pay well over $100 for those alterations. Buyer beware. They will sell you a dress and take your money, but don’t expect any customer service after that
