I booked a two-night stay at this hotel for a work meeting. The lady at the front desk who greeted me was very nice, polite, and professional--top marks here. The room was also adequate--clean, no apparent damage to anything; just dated. My two main complaints and the reason for the two-star rating are the glitchy cable TV and WiFi that's a joke. The digital TV constantly cut out on several stations or stuttered very often producing choppy audio and pixelated pictures. I've stayed at Holiday Inn Express hotels in the DFW area that have actual cable boxes with guides, great picture quality, and no issues--time to upgrade, Marriott. The WiFi is the bigger issue as it constantly disconnects. This happens on my Android phone, iPad, and Windows laptop so I'm fairly certain that the issue is not device-related. I was trying to run some work-related reports and after five attempts, I gave up because the WiFi kept disconnecting. Even streaming a show from Netflix was met with constant buffering and hang-ups. it's 2018, Marriott; there's no excuse for issues like these.
