Called to ask if there was a late appointment for euthanizing my cat, as I can’t stand to see her suffer until tomorrow, when she is scheduled with her regular vet. Wendy answered the phone. The Doctor leaves at 6, though CityVet is open until 7. Perhaps Wendy is not as brusque and cold in person as she sounds on the phone, but she certainly made a difficult phone call even harder. I have called three other vets, trying to get a late appointment so my bf can join me to say goodbye to our sweet kitty. Though none had appointments available, all the others were extremely sympathetic, offered alternatives, and expressed their regrets. For compassionate staff, I recommend looking elsewhere.
