Terrible experience with Cigna for my maternity leave. They say that you get 6 weeks of paid maternity leave. First of all, I didn't even start receiving any benefits until after my 6 weeks were over so thank goodness I'm a responsible human being and had savings to cover my bills. Secondly, they don't even pay you for the first two weeks, "you would have to use PTO or sick time for that". I definitely wouldn't recommend them for an expecting mother- and if you do have them, I highly suggest saving in expectancy of paying your first 6 weeks of personal bills out of pocket.
