I advise you to take the time to read this review to save yourself time, money, and patience.
I do not usually write reviews, but when I feel I have been wronged in some many ways, my only hope is for this review to prevent any other current or prospective tenants from going through even a fraction of what I've endured residing at these apartments. Cliche, but if I could give a 0 or negative rating, I most certainly would because this place deserves it. No wonder the occupancy of this place is horrible.
In a nutshell, maintenance is horrid. Forget about getting things fixed in a timely or proper manner. They do band aid repairs. Even when I 1st moved in I noticed poorly done wall repairs and not so hot looking molding. As well, my washer and dryer were broken for almost a year, and we had hardly any hot water for several months (I know several other tenants complained of the same), despite my several maintenance requests. There was a leak from an upstairs apartment and I took the proper measures to try and get it resolved quickly as it DAMAGED my property. The management was very rude by making it seem it was my fault for not contacting them when I DID AS I'VE ALWAYS HAD, took forever to repair, and didn't provide any compensation for the waste of my time, damage to my things, rude treatment, and poorly done job.
Looks like a nice gym and gated community to use? Wrong. Most things in the gym are broken and the gates as well. I've had things taken from me and the management makes no attempt to actually remedy the situation that has effected so many of it's tenants. When we had the storm, the gym was closed for months. We pay for these services yet we don't get to use them or if so, it's extremely poor.
Now, I'm trying to leave this horrible place and they want to try and make me stay another month at a full, ridiculously expensive rate or pay $731 to leave when MY LEASE IS UP, AS I SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO SINCE I PAID IT IN IT'S ENTIRETY, because they didn't receive my 60 day notice nor did I get a notice from them which them claimed to have left on my door. It's the 21st century, there are better means to communicate time sensitive information that effects someones finances so heavily and frankly, when a lease is up and has been paid for - it's up. There shouldn't be a "penalty" for not receiving a notice that results in an extended stay at the worse complex I've ever resided in or in charging practically a month of rent to leave WHEN I WAS SET TO LEAVE TO BEGIN WITH.
Please, please, please save yourself the headache and move elsewhere. All they care about is getting you to sign the lease, and take your money. Don't make the mistake several tenants have made and go elsewhere. Try avoiding any Capstone Management or Real Estate as they would fall under the same terrible complex tree as this one.
